Dik Peeters Make Up and Hairstyling School

Dik Peeters Make Up School was started in 1982 and since then our training has been responsible for starting the many successful careers of make up artists and hairstylists whose day to day work finds them working with (and often being responsible for) the latest trends in hair and make up. On a regular basis the names of our graduates are to be found associated with photographic assignments in both the editorial and commercial sectors and with television and film productions. Many graduates have forged careers of great renown including Ina Witsiers, Eva Copper, Anneke Looijesteijn, Siny van der Velde, Dirk Jensma, Mari van der Ven, Ellis Faas, Loredana Secci, Anoek van Nunen, Ed Tijsen, Aaf Corbijn, Erik hachmang. These successful graduates now work on the most prestigious Dutch and foreign print media, television shows, and film productions. This is testimony to the great success they have found in their careers as Make up artists and hairstylists.

Classes are taught by a number of well known Dutch make up artists and hairstylists. All tutors working at the school have proven their skill and expertise by working with well known clients such as news publications, fashion and beauty magazines, make up manufacturers, photographers, and on fashion shows. It is also a requirement of our tutors that they currently work as make up artists so that they can be constantly informed and updated of the latest trends enabling them to keep our students similarly informed.

HAAR & MAKE-UP SCHOOL DIK PEETERS also offer opportunities for intern-ships and job training during and after the completion of your diploma. We mentor our graduates for 3 years after graduation in their search for work. We send to our students (via email) all of the requests we receive from photographers, film companies, fashion shows etc. for make-up and hair artists. Each graduate is free to respond to the request – although this is not obligatory. This privilege is only available to graduates of Haar & Make-up School Dik Peeters.

If you would like to come and have a look at the school then this can be arranged during lesson time. We do not hold open days as we feel that this does not give an accurate representation of the ‘inner workings’ of the school. For this reason you can arrange a personal meeting which we will be happy to accommodate. Please feel free to call us to arrange this.
